A crucial element in the development of the iron ore industry in the mid west region is the construction of a deep water port and connecting standard gauge railway of approximately 465 kms. The Western Australian Government has identified Oakajee, situated 20 km from Geraldton, as the site for the new port.
Midwest Corporation is working with the State Government to facilitate the introduction of these key facilities. |
