Midwest Corporation will be participating in the inaugural Geraldton Iron Ore Alliance Community Careers and Training Expo to be held on Thursday 7th August from 9.00am to 6.00pm at Central West TAFE in Geraldton.
This free event provides opportunities to network with local employers, training providers and government organisations involved in employment, training and career development.
In excess of 100 exhibitors are expected to participate in the expo, including industries such as mining, community services, health, transport and logistics, agri-foods, hospitality, marine, job network agencies, registered and group training organisations, army, navy, air force and local indigenous training and employment schemes.

Midwest Corporation held a series of highly successful public open days in Morrowa and Perenjori on 27 and 28 May 2008. We were very pleased to see such a large turn-out of people from these communities, which included presentations to school children, business people, farmers and other interested residents from all around the district.
Midwest sees consistent interaction with these communities as very important to keep people informed of the company’s progress and intentions regarding its projects that are located in the developing mid-west region.
The Company was very pleased to be able to announce a major corporate sponsorship of $3,500 to support the 2008 Perenjori & Districts Agricultural Show, and looks forward to participating in this great local event.
